Fresh Starts with God

God’s Morning Word — Sept. 24, 2026

See> (Lamentations 3:23 KJV) — They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Once in a while, some of us allow the mistakes we’ve made in the past to define how we walk today. When we find ourselves doing this, we need to remember our Father God specializes in fresh starts. Every sunrise is a reminder that His mercy has not run out and His grace has not been exhausted.

We need to remember that the Lord invites us to leave our past and all those burdens at His feet, and He will sustain us. He promises this because He will never allow His righteous to be moved.

See> (Psalm 55:22 KJV) — Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Brothers and sisters united in Christ, no matter what happened yesterday, today is a gift from God. Therefore, let us take a fresh step in faith by trusting His direction, remembering that God’s plans for our lives are not limited by our past.

Rev’s Note

As the morning sun rises, let our hearts rise in hope, knowing God is still working, still leading, and still making all things new.

Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father God, thank You for Your new mercies this morning. Help us to leave yesterday behind and walk forward with Your Son in faith. Strengthen our hearts, renew our minds, and guide our steps today. Thank You for being the God of fresh beginnings. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
