God’s Characteristics

God’s Morning Word — Aug. 2, 2026

This morning’s message is meant to inspire God’s children to go out and share His goodness wherever we are. When Christians display their Father God’s traits to those who do not know Him, others can see His characteristics in them.

Colossians 3:12 KJV) — Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

When we openly share God’s kindness and love through our actions, other hearts may desire to receive God’s love and compassion and enjoy the comforts God offers His people.

Galatians 5:22-23 KJV) — But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Rev’s Note

God needs His children to openly display His holiness in our own characteristics, because we are His children. When people see Christ in us, they should be able to see the difference God makes in a life

Morning Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father God, we are Your children who desire to share Your love and goodness with those who are suffering. Help us display good fruit in everything we do. In the name of Jesus Christ we all pray. Amen.

May we all walk under our Lord and Savior’s guidance.
