God's Everlasting Love

God’s Morning Word — July 30, 2026

We are blessed to have a God who is good and kind to us. God is this way because He is rich in mercy, and He loves us greatly.

(Ephesians 2:4 KJV) — But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

God's Everlasting love for us assures us that He will never give up on us, even when we have given up on Him. I say that from my own experience, because only God knows how many times I have given up on Him. But I am blessed today to say that God never once gave up on me. I truly believe this is because our Lord God understands our weaknesses.

(Psalm 147:5 KJV) — Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

This reminds me that it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, and great is His faithfulness.

(Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV) — It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

As God’s children, we may never fully understand His faithfulness in keeping His promises to us—especially those of us who have broken nearly every promise we have made to Him.

Rev’s Note

Today I realize that no matter what God’s children do, His love and mercy will always be upon us. That is a promise every child of God can count on.

How do you know, preacher? Because God’s mercy and love for His children will always remain unconditional.

Morning Prayer

Dear Father God in Heaven, we come this morning with overwhelmingly grateful hearts, thankful for Your everlasting love, even when we have done wrong. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
