Looking for something

I'm in someone else's place and I've lost something important. Car, keys, something. I found a banjo I thought I'd lost and it was a clue. I needed to see a computer, or records somewhere to find my lost item. An impatient man (the owner?) is trying to get to me to leave and he's getting more angry the longer I stay.

I found a musical instrument in a bag that I was sure was lost. It was encouraging; I wanted to stay longer and keep searching for my precious thing, whatever it was. There must be more here somewhere
