Maybe? I did some SERE training when I was in the USAF, though that was a long time ago. But I've been hiking/camping since I was a little kid, can knap knives and blades out of rock, and build fairly good shelters in a forested setting. I mean the main issues are exposure, water, food - then eventual rescue. I'd to know more parameters. Am I being dropped on a strip of sand in the middle of the Pacific? Probably dead. Drop me on Santa Cruz or Vancouver Island or the equivalent? By the time you get back I'll have a nice cabin, wrap around porch, kiln, smoked fish/meats, hammock, and an overwhelming desire to stay.
